It’s absolutely fantastic we have won this grant for RAF Marham, (or should that be Fitastic!). Our families are really feeling the affect of the COVID lockdown preventing any groups clubs or activities taking place especially as there was a long deployment of personnel being away for nine months.

Having been awarded the NAAFI Grant for a children’s play area, it will enhance the “lived experience” of many of our Military and Civilian staff and their families. This project will enhance our continued ambition to support our whole force and visiting personnel, whilst providing a focal point for family events.

This April we would love to focus on the simple joy of sharing and bonding over a book, and to get many more books into the hands of all the amazing military children there are in the UK and living overseas.

The initial 'One is Too Many' grant has truly helped us to deliver support across our ‘Lifting the Lid’ project; using data that we have gathered as part of this funding we have been able to successfully access funding from another source to continue the aims of this enduring project

Just so pleased the children have had this fantastic platform to raise awareness for all Service children in the U.K. Awareness of how tough it can be for them at times but at the same time they have so much pride in their Serving family members. Being a part of the project has provided us with an amazing opportunity to collaborate with other charities and organisations to provide the best support and opportunities for veterans and their families in our area. With the new activities we can provide, we are seeing engagement with veterans who have not reached out to us before.
